The Edosystem™ Assessment is a K12 systems assessment tool that helps educational leaders gauge the state, readiness, and capacity of their existing edosystem for transformation. It does not depend on external evaluations or benchmarks. The tool focuses on the strength of edosystem organizational practices in your school district and the mindset and actions of key leaders and individuals. We recommend participants complete the edosystem™ self-assessment form independently and subsequently work collaboratively to assess weaknesses and strengthen their approach to edosystem™ transformation. Then, use edology tools, policies, practices, and accountability reviews to explore and identify major edosystem™ pollutants, practices, and actions hindering the advancement of the edosystem™ and the academic progress of students, with special attention to marginalized students, disillusioned teachers, and disempowered parents.  The purpose of the Edosystem™ Assessment is to develop a roadmap for school district transformation and to identify priority actions the district can take to expedite it.
